21 Privé Casino Review

21 Privé, or 21 Private to give it its English name, has been doing the rounds on the internet for a few years, now. Having recently undergone a facelift, Ugambling decided that it was about time to have a look and see if 21 Privé has managed to stay ahead of the game over the past years, or if time has not been so kind to this veteran online casino.

Interface

For a casino thats now over 4 years old, 21 Privé certainly doesnt look its age. A recent revamp has modernised the layout and given the casino a new logo. Purple is the colour of choice and is used in various shades throughout the pages of 21 Privé, giving it a classy feel thats not over-the-top. Far from one of the extravagant casinos one would find on the Vegas strip; this online casino feels more like an exclusive, members-only casino one may find in Monte Carlo. Ironically, despite the name of the casino being French, there is no French language options for players.

Noticing that the mobile casino is highlighted in the top navigation bar, we decided to load 21 Privé up on our iPhone (other brands of phone are also available) and see if it looked as good on there as it did on the desktop. Thankfully, we werent disappointed, as the casino retained all of its functionality and sharp branding on the mobile interface. The Jackpot Games section, at the top-left of the lobby was a nice touch, showing the jackpot total for each of the main jackpot games one at a time.

Cashier

Our trip to the cashier desk well, we clicked on Cashier was very easy and straight-forward. There was a good selection of payment methods, including credit/debit card, bank transfer, Skrill, Neteller, PaySafe Card and Ukash. The minimum deposit amount of £/€20 may be a little high compared to some casinos, but it not uncommon and should not be any cause for concern.

Withdrawals require a slightly higher minimum value of £/€30 again, higher than some casinos, but not unusual and we found that our funds were received within 4 days of requesting them. The initial verification check was a little slow one the first account that we created, with it taking 3 days for 21 Privé to confirm that the photocopy of our passport was acceptable. A common complaint from casinos managed by the group which operates 21 Privé is that any withdrawals of £/€100,000 or more may be paid in 10 equal instalments. Ugambling does not approve of such terms and believes that a players winnings should be paid in full if verification checks are satisfactory, however this should not be an issue for the vast majority of players who would be extremely lucky to win such an amount.

Customer Service

In the unlikely event that any issues should occur during your time with 21 Privé, there is access to a live chat service which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When we clicked the live chat button, we were promptly answered by a chap called Justin and, while we were unable to verify if this was his real name (the profile picture would win an award for most generic stock photo of the year), he was very polite and helpful just what youd expect from a good online casino.

Email chat is available, though telephone support is, sadly, absent.

Promotions

21 Privé offers a run of the mill welcome package, as well as several other recurring promotions which would take far too much time to fully explain (we'll let any advertising banners do that job for us). Ugambling's opinion of the vast majority of casino bonuses is that they generally do not represent good value for money to players, and we highly recommend that any bonus money is not accepted by all but the most casual of gamblers. Any players wishing to accept any promotional offers should be aware of the clause "Wagering is 35 times the total of bonus money, deposit and free spins. Wagering must be completed before any funds can be withdrawn." Basically, if you deposit £/€100 and get £/€100 in bonus funds, you'd need to wager (gamble) a total of £/€7000 before being able to withdraw any winnings from the bonus funds.

Of more interest to us was the Exclusive VIP Club; membership of which will be granted on a discretionary basis to the most loyal players. While Ugambling has yet to receive an invite (we are cheapskates), the perks may well be worthwhile to those who stick around with this online casino.

Licensing

An important aspect of any casino, and one that 21 Privé has covered, is the licensing jurisdictions that an online casino is accredited by. In this case, we are happy to see that the casino operates under both the UK Gambling Commission and Maltese Gaming Authority licenses, which should give players a lot of confidence when compared to other establishments. Much of what we experienced during our time with 21 Privé is exactly the sort of thing wed expect from a casino with such trustworthy licenses.

The source material may not provide the basis for the most creative of casino reviews, but dont let that put you off 21 Privé.
